Jackie Sampson-Stewart is a registered Physiotherapist and the owner of Centreline Physio, Sports & Wellness Inc. She is registered, in good standing, with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, including the Orthopaedic, Sports, Acupuncture, Cardiorespiratory and Private Practice Divisions throughout her career. She has been an examiner for the Physiotherapy Competency Examination and has supervised students from McMaster University’s Physiotherapy and Midwifery Education Programs. She supervises internship students for both Sheridan College and Wilfred Laurier University in the Kinesiology, Health Promotion and Athletic Therapy Programs. Jackie graduated from McMaster University in 1997 with a Degree in Kinesiology and then in 2000 with a Degree in Physiotherapy. She has Diplomas in Manual and Manipulative Therapy and Contemporary Medical Acupuncture.  Jackie is a Stott-trained Pilates instructor and has integrated the comprehensive teachings of Pilates-based exercise into her practice for over 25 years as well as teaching courses on the utilization of Pilates for health care practitioners. Jackie has a strong practice in the assessment and treatment of diverse and complex musculoskeletal orthopaedic conditions, as well as vestibular disorders,  concussion management, and women’s health issues, including pre and post-natal conditions. She is the founder and lead facilitator of Centreline Pace Makers, a cardiac rehabilitation program exclusive to Centreline Physio, Sports & Wellness. With an extensive background in dance, performing arts and athletics she has a special interest in treating athletes, including dancers, gymnasts, and figure skaters.  As a Certified Concussion Management provider and a Certified Sports First Responder, she enjoys providing sports rehabilitation for athletic/dance injuries both on/off the field and stage at the recreational, competitive, and professional levels.

Jackie has been a member of Healthy Dancer Canada and her past dance repertoire include Advanced Levels of Ballet (Vaganova), Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Flamenco, and Modern/Contemporary with a multitude of performance/choreography credits, as well as instructing dance for over 20 years.

She currently enjoys opportunities to travel, spending time with family & friends, and participating in activities like pilates, yoga, dance, spin and hiking. Her motto, Use it or lose it …within reason!
