Centreline's cardiac rehabilitation program, Centreline Pace Makers, is designed to help individuals recovering from heart-related conditions regain their strength and confidence. It is especially important for individuals who have experienced a cardiac event and those with risk factors for cardiovascular disease or stroke.
The program offers a personalized approach to cardiac rehabilitation, combining expert guidance, physical therapy, and education to support patients in improving their cardiovascular health. The program also fills a critical gap in local healthcare. As one of the few cardiac rehab programs available to Brantford residents, it offers an invaluable resource for those recovering from heart events. This ensures that patients no longer need to travel far to access the specialized care they deserve.
“This program represents our mission to provide excellent care while helping our clients prevent injuries, restore their body, and perform their best,” said Jackie Sampson-Stewart, Owner and Lead Physiotherapist at Centreline Physio.
Participants are now being invited to join the Centreline Pace Makers cardiac rehab exercise program. It is an 8-week evidenced-based group exercise program delivered by a trained team, including certified exercise physiologists and registered physiotherapists. Partners, spouses, and caregivers are also welcome to join with prior approval.
The program is available at Centreline Physio’s Brantford location, with flexible scheduling options to fit patients’ needs. While, the focus is on a group exercise program, those clients that require more one-to-one attention can work with Centreline’s physiotherapists to develop a personalized treatment plan until they are ready.
